How is the air filtered?
The air is drawn into the soldering fume extraction system through the pipe. The Mr Beam Air Filter System uses pre-filter mats and activated carbon filters. The coarse particles are caught in the pre-filter, while the HEPA filter catches the rest of the fine dust. Finally, the activated carbon neutralizes unpleasant odours. It is an effective 3-stage filtering.

To connect the soldering fume extraction to your preferred device, you need an external controller. You have the option to either purchase the Air Filter Controller as part of the Mr Beam Air Filter System or to purchase it separately if you already own our extraction. This means that dangerous particles in the air when 3D printing, soldering or lasering are a thing of the past. Over time, all you have to do is replace the pre-filters and activated carbon filters to ensure continuous and safe filtration.
