You can use the laser cutter on the wood to define the basic shape of your piece, or stencil-style to cut out letters, shapes, intricate patterns, and minute details. With the Mr Beam II dreamcut [x] you can cut even thicker wood or have twice the output in the same time. With Mr Beam, you achieve professional results when cutting wood. Various wood cutting projects
You probably know your creative ideas best, and you know what types of wood you want to use to cut out or engrave models, artwork or gifts. However, if this is not the case, our sales team is at your side and will be happy to advise you on lasering wood. As a laser cutter for wood, the Mr Beam cuts soft but robust wood particularly well. You will achieve the best results with Kraftplex , balsa wood, stone pine, birch, poplar and plywood made from soft woods. You can use the dreamcut [S] to cut out motifs from all of these types of wood, sometimes up to 4 mm thick, but at least 3 mm thick. With the dreamcut [x] laser head it is even possible to cut, for example, poplar plywood up to 8 mm. Alternatively, we can also test the wood of your choice before you decide to buy it. There are fewer limitations when it comes to laser engraving wood. Only the intensity of the dark laser decorations can vary. Woods such as beech, cherry, oak and stone pine are just as suitable for wood lasering as balsa wood, Kraftplex, bamboo, poplar plywood and birchwood.
